There are few hidden paradises in the world which Karsten has not explored. He is passionate about connecting with true wilderness and supporting the indigenous communities which protect those wild places for us and our children.
Karsten Jannicke has climbed anything within reach since he started to crawl. After travelling the world and climbing amongst others Aconcagua (6995m) and crossing the Patagonian Ice Cap on a new route, he turned tourism into his profession.
Karsten is passionate about adventure tourism that benefits local and indigenous communities bordering national parks. Karsten has worked with NGOs that worked in the prevention of poaching. He has done research into high altitude medicine and has a Wilderness First Responder certificate.
